Usually, indigo-colored knitwear is dyed after the product is completed. This is because indigo is prone to color transfer, and the color transfer to the machine used to knit the knitwear is likely to occur, so it cannot be made without a special machine. However, this time, Seven By Seven met with one of the few craftsmen in Japan who knits using indigo yarn, and produced a knitwear knitted with indigo yarn. Each thread is dyed with a white indigo color, resulting in a distinctive crease like denim. In addition, because it is made of cotton, the aging process unique to indigo can be enjoyed. By making it with ribbing, you can enjoy the way the creases appear due to the unevenness. This indigo knitwear can be enjoyed for many years, with a driver's knit style, a classic design unique to ribbing, arranged in a way that is characteristic of the brand.
*The black color uses black indigo thread.
