This blouson is woven on a jacquard loom used for neckties, which allows for intricate patterns to be created. We deliberately used a luxurious plain fabric, and used glossy silk for the warp threads, with a weave that is about twice as thick as regular materials. It is a twill weave, but the material looks like satin. The high density gives it a unique tension, making the product look three-dimensional. This luxurious material has been deliberately made with the silk side facing the reverse, with a simple concealed placket.
