The ECWCS layering system was adopted by the US military in the late 1980s.
This mouton jacket was created by imitating the Generation 2 fleece blouson that appeared in the 2000s as the second generation, and was made to fit the brand's silhouette. By using the boa side and the silver side separately, it has a finish reminiscent of a combination of fleece and nylon. This fleece was developed to make wool, which was used as cold weather clothing, lighter and easier to care for, such as washing. The mouton jacket was created by going back to its origins through the brand's interpretation, and while it has the appearance of casual wear, it also has an elegant finish due to the luxury of the material.
